Basic Scaffolding Training Course

We provide training to meet the approved Construction Skills Certification Scheme (CSCS) standards for Basic Scaffolders.

Basic Scaffolding Course Objectives

The minimum acceptable standard of training is the approved Construction Skills Certification Scheme (CSCS) for Basic Scaffolders. All Scaffolding activities beyond the range of general access scaffolds require the erector to be trained to an advanced level, which we also provide. In addition, the extent of the training will be determined according to the normal work type undertaken and the scaffolding type.

Basic Scaffolding Course Description

The training covers the fundamental skills needed for basic scaffolders, focusing on safety and competence. This course serves as a foundation for those involved in scaffolding activities and prepares them for more advanced training if required. Upon completion, learners will be able to erect and dismantle scaffolds safely & competently and will be aware of the risks involved with scaffolding.
