360 Teleporter NPORS Course Objective:
The plant assessment programme enables experienced plant operators to gain recognition for their achievements by way of certification in accordance with legislation and manufacturers’ instruction.
360 Teleporter NPORS Course Description:
The aim of this course is to understand and conform with the manufacturer’s requirements as per the operator’s manual, other types of information sources and relevant regulations and legislation.

- Name and explain/demonstrate the purpose of principal components, the basic construction, controls and terminology, size and types of 360 Telescopic handler
- Understand and undertake all pre-start and running checks and shutdown procedures including mounting and dismounting techniques according to the manufacturer’s manual.
- Stability factors in unladen/laden conditions, including the understanding of load centres and load charts, safety devices and applicable legislation
- Prepare and configure the Telescopic Handler for on-site and road travel
- Understanding and identifying on-site hazards
- Travel in a forward / reverse direction through restrictions on different types of ground conditions both ladened and un-laden
- The different load types and characteristics
- Demonstrate the use of different attachments, including Winch, Forks, Buckets & Man Cage
- Position and set up the Telescopic Handler to lift various loads to within its full working range including slew, and transports of loads all while ensuring load integrity and security
- Place and retrieve loads accurately onto towers, vehicle beds, and stacking procedures while using 360 operations and keep within a safe working parameter
- Explain loading/unloading procedures on a low-loader for machine transportation
